Brendan Boden Creative

Hello all! I just wanted to share a couple of updates with you all.

First off I have changed my “Blog” to my “Journal”. I made this change because I want it to be a place where I share a lot of things; whether it be photography work, graphic design work, updates, travel notices, basically anything. I want to write more and connect with everyone so I felt this was appropriate and not just a “hip” name to a blog. Also, I have enabled comments to allow you all to comment and ask questions to stay further connected.

Second, I know a lot of people know me as a “Photographer” or some know me as a “Graphic Designer”, I tried to not keep those two worlds separate but it appears that somehow it has happened. For those that don’t know, I am a Seattle based Graphic Designer AND Photographer. There, it’s said and they are now a unit and go together!

2016 was an interesting year for me, a lot of exciting things/projects happened and some not so exciting things happened. In October I was laid off at my very first graphic design job out of college. It was something that we saw coming due to some changes in the company so I wasn’t caught 100% by surprise but it still sucked. I had the opportunity to work with some really awesome people during my two and a half years there and those people taught me a lot, if any of you are reading this-thank you for everything!

With that said, these past couple of months have really given me a lot of time to think about my future. Time to think about what I really want to do and what I really want to create. So I have decided to go full time with freelance graphic design and photography. I know it’s not going to be easy. I know it’s going to take a little while to build my client list and further build my portfolio but I am excited to peruse this!

This is Brendan Boden Creative.

I will use the “new” Facebook page/name to share more than just my photography work. I plan on sharing anything I am working on through there and will be creating some stuff in the future to sell (posters, apparel, cards, etc.) so if your not already connected via Facebook then you better get on it so you don’t miss out! Give it a “Like

If you are a small or medium size business with graphic design or photography needs lets talk and see how we can create together!
